More Confused Than Ever

Why are guys so difficult to understand?! I know we are too, but come on! We should all just sit down one day and discuss why one gender is more confusing than the other. It might be interesting...

So yes, back to my problems :P So yesterday (Thursday) WL was texting me while I was at work. It was a rainy day so I was at work all alone at first with my boss showing up and disappearing all the time. He kept me entertained during the day by texting me about random things. It was actually really cute and I was laughing a lot of the time. Today at work we laughed about the texts from the previous day and he was so talkative at work today! He was like Little Miss Chatterbox. It's always so easy going with him. He also shared some of his food with me during his break and I just kept taking, revenge from when he always took my food,  revenge is sweet (and tasty). Maybe it's just be being me and over thinking, but lately I've also noticed that he likes to come stand next to me for no reason, it's not like we're really talking, but just while working, I would find myself standing next to him while we're both wiping down a counter or something. We've also been talking a lot ore and joking around a lot more than we have before. Unfortunately even though this might sound like progress, his last day of work is on Sunday :( So I'll probably never see him again (if I do, it would be rare).

So a good 20 of us went out after work today, and we were a huge group with a table that wasn't big enough. some of us were standing and others were sitting and I was sitting with my brother and R and WL was just standing behind me with his hand on my chair for a long time, all his usual friends were at the other end of the table but h stayed next to me the whole time. Then when a chair opened up he didn't want to sit (even though it was 2 seats away) and he stayed there. He finally got a chance to grab a chair and he put it right next to me and walked off to help a few other guys bring tables over to out group. My brother sat down on the chair that WL had put next to me , and WL gave him a dirty look. I'm sorry let me just sit here and freak out like a little girl for a minute... He looked upset that MY brother took the seat next to me! We also took a group photo and a guy was standing next to me and he ended up standing on the ledge behind me (rigth behind me) and this is probably too much info for a lot of you now, so if you don't want to know you can just skim this part, but every time I turned around my face was basically crotch level... I won't deny it was a little disturbing. After my brother took my seat he basically sat at the other end of the table. I ended up going on that end cause ST was there and after a little while he bolted to the other end of the table.

I went to dance with a bunch of people (he refused to join), and then we came back and a few of us decided to go and have shots. I honestly didn't expect him to join us and all of a sudden I turn around and he's walking behind me. We were talking at the bar and he was next to me the whole time and we were talking and we both paid for the shots together (for the little group that wanted shots) and once again he would lean over me to get his shot and then the salt. The L came and stop between us and offered me a drink and told me that I looked really good. And I saw WL back off a little and then L kept pushing the drink, WL kind of walked away. I refused the drink from L and headed back to the table with WL and a few other people and we sat near each other at the table. We talked for a little bit and then I ended up leaving a little after that cause my designated driver wanted to leave. I gave a hug to everyone at the table, except him :(. And then once again, cause he likes being a ninja, he randomly sit down on the chair that is right behind me. It took a while for everyone to say bye, we were after all 20 something people. So my brother and I continued to joke around with him an anther coworker and I put my hands on his shoulders and he held one of my hands for a little bit :)

Now, I completely understand that this might all be me over thinking, but I'm starting to think that he might be interested... I just wish my brother didn't have to be such a "good" brother and that L didn't hit on me, cause then I might have known for sure! ARGH! why does life have to be so complicated?!

Another sign that I might be over thinking everything is that he gets along really well with this other girl at work, and they live near one another so they take the bus home together and stuff and for all I know, they might be secretly dating or something :(

Why can't I just know for sure? I have to discuss this with people tomorrow, but until then, I'll just keep over thinking about everything

By the way, if this post doesn't make sense, it's cause yes, i did have a little something to drink. No, not enough to get tipsy. And yes, I have been up for 21 hours now. Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Blog to you guys soon  :)

2 Weeks of Summer!

Hey guys!

So yes I am fully aware that it is 2AM and yes, I do have to get up 7:30 to get to work tomorrow. But I can't sleep and I think it' a good excuse to blog? Right?

I did my supplemental today, to be honest I think I could ave done better. I blanked on the exam (not fun) and I'm sure I doubted myself and messed up a bunch of things... It's done though and like ST keeps saying I can't do anything about it anymore. I just have to wait for the mark, I'll wait like a sitting duck (quack!). Right after my exam I met up with ST and LN for supper, but not before bumping into BD and get this we shopped for a bit and it was actually pretty fun. After supper I hung out with ST and a few of our coworkers and it was actually really fun and relaxing. It was a nice way to calm down from all the stress from the exam.

Since I'm going to be free for about a week before all hell breaks loose and school starts, I'm going to do as much as I can next week, since I'm off from work too. I already have plans set out for the rest of this week (mostly work) and the week after.

Friday night a bunch of us (most of us) from work are going to go to a bar after work. It should be fun cause the last few times I went out to a bar we had a lot of fun (but it seems that it always ends up with stories about me). It should be fun. Half of us are going from work and the other (lucky) half are coming from home so there will be a huge difference in appearance and smells between the two groups. I'll keep you guy posted if anything happens that night that is blog worthy, or you know, I'll blog anyways just for the fun of it.

Next week, I have Botanical Gardens with ST and W, Brunch with W, O, and maybe BB and then probably lunch or supper with AK. I would like to get a few more things going there and get the most of what I can get from my 'summer'. When life gives you lemons...

I also earned today that this is WL's last week. How did I not know that!? I'll miss his adorableness and smile and our harmless flirting. I know a lot of you are thinking that I should just do something about it, but I don't know, I just don't want to. I get it, I'll never know until I do something and what if he has the same doubts as you and blah blah, but we don't go to the same school and I don't think I'll have time for school, work, a relationship, a social life and whatever else is going to be thrown my way. If you love something set it free and if it comes back it was meant to be. And I know guys don't have to do everything, girl can do it too. But like, that doesn't mean I have to do something, I'm perfectly fine with my guys being assertive and doing something for themselves. I am assertive enough at work, I don't have to be off the clock.

So yup, I've basically updated you guys enough for a 2AM post. And I should really be getting to bed cause I am going to be butt tired tomorrow morning. Hope you guys are up to be served by a zombie!

XOXO Gossi... opps wrong blog :P

New York Trip 2013

Hey guys!

I just came back from my NYC trip last night, and let me tell you that OMFG, it was the best new York trip I remember ever having. We went with my schools Chinese society and let me just say that it was an amazing event planned by students. I'm super happy about the trip because we got to do everything we planned to do and more! I went on this trip with ST, Y, a friend that I will call LN, another ML and two of LN's friends. Yes, seven girls in New york city hoping to make their dreams (a nice stress free weekend) come true. Here's a break down of what we did each day:

Day 1
Well actually this vacation could have started out a little more smooth, since ST and I got up about an hour late. But we got there in time and we did board the bus! The trip there was boring, basically, everyone on the bus could fall asleep but me :( But when we got to NYC, the fun started, we got dropped off at Times Square and then we started out walk downtown, we walked to Strand (a new, used and rare bookstore), then headed down to SOHO for a bit of shopping and then we headed to Chinatown where we got little nicknacks, jewelry and some pastries. We then headed over to little Italy where we ate at an Italian restaurant with live music and then went across the street to have cannolies and we took the subway back to Times Square and took a shuttle bus back to our hotel.

Day 2
We started the day my taking the bus into NY and got dropped off at Grand Central station, from there we took the subway to Union Square and walked to IHOP where we all stuffed our faces with food and then we took the subway back to Times Square. We then split up, LN's two friends went to the MoMA and the rest of us went to Madame Tussauds. Then we met up again and we lined up at tkts to get Broadway tickets. We were having trouble deciding what show to go watch when the guy working there announced that they had tickets to the opening night of Cinderella, and the tickets were half price! so we all obviously got tickets to that. After getting the tickets, we split up again, and we went to different places around Times, then we all met up at the Theater where the show was going to be at. There was a "red carpet" in front where there were celebrities coming in to watch the show. We saw Anna Sophia form the Carrie Diaries and then some of us went to the washroom before the show, the ones that stayed behind saw Laurie Metcalf (Sheldon Cooper's mom on The Big Bang Theory). The show was amazing, it was a somewhat modern version of Cinderella where she is a strong independent woman who is doing what she believes in. The show itself was amazing, the performers were incredibly talented and the costume changed in the show were amazing! It was done right before your eyes in the blink of an eye. Nothing covering the performer. The costume legit changed in front of your eyes, from her normal beat up clothes to an amazing white and later on gold dress. It was an amazing experience and on top of it all, it was something that we could all experience in a school trip. We were in the same theater as Anna Sophia (Carrie Diaries), Regis Philbin, Megan Hilty (Smash) and a bunch of other celebs while watching the show!
After the show we went to go wait by the stage door hoping to get autographs from the members of the cast and we waited outside for an hour and got a few autographs, but then we got to go inside! We got to go on stage where the magic happened, it was truly something amazing, we got to stand on a Broadway stage! How many times does that ever happen? Well unless you are crazy talented, NEVER!! It was truly a night to remember and isn't it ironic that the unforgettable, magical night happened while we watched Cinderella? And all before the stroke of midnight :P

Day 3
On the last day we went to Woodbury Premium Outlets and we did a lot of shopping. Some stores had amazing deals, like Coach, who had 50% off all handbags and clearance items. How do you say no to that?! After 6 hours of shopping, we headed back to MTL on a long bus ride home.

Now I'm not going to pretend that this trip didn't have it's ups and downs, but it was an overall amazing trip with friends in the big apple. It was also an amazing time to get away from everything and turn off my phone and just have a good time. I would definitely do this again next year if the trip is offered again.

I spent a lot of money on this trip, but I actually didn't come home with a lot of stuff for myself like the last time I went. Here's list of my hull:

For me:
  • white chocolate Reese's
  • Kinder maxi bars
  • a trench coat from Kelvin Clein
  • Little woman, Wuthering Heights and Warm bodies
  • Nars blush in Orgasm
  • Coach wallet
For family and friends:
  • Nike tshirts
  • One Piece tshirt
  • plain solid colored tshirts
  • men's wallet
  • Adidas jacket
  • giant Reese's bad
  • white chocolate Reece's
  • Kinder mixed chocolate bag
  • Coach Purse
  • pastries
  • bracelet
And of course, money was spend on food, the Broadway show and Madame Tussaud's. Hopefully this spring break continues to be an good one :)

Midterms and Reading Week Plans

Hey Guys!

So Midterms are around the corner, and I won't lie, I am way behind in all my work :( I told myself I wasn't going to slack off this semester (a lie I've been telling myself since my third semester in CEGEP). I tried at the beginning of the semester, I honestly did, but then my birthday weekend kind of put a kink in things and I've been slacking ever since. I'm trying to catch up, and it's hard. Don't ever slack off in University guys, you just end up being shoved under more and more things and once you think you've caught up in one class, all your other classes drown you. There is no winning, STAY ON TRACK! That is the best advice I can give you at this point.

My midterms are in about 2 weeks, and I have 4 within 10 days... I will be dead after midterms. But thankfully I'm going to New York right after! Yes, I know I've been about half a year ago (not even actually), but one of my school associations is organizing the trip and I just couldn't resist. I'll be there for 3 days and the last day is devoted to Woodbury Premium Outlets. I'm excited for the trip because it will be a good stress relief from midterms and school in general. This is going to be an independent trip, so we get to go wherever we want and there is continuous bus shuttle until 11PM, so we can stay out late in NYC and see the night life (not that we could drink cause we're under age). We're still in the process of planning out where to go and what to do right now.

And back to school talk. I'm super behind in all of my classes right now and I'm panicking for midterms cause I didn't do so well last semester and I would really like to bring my GPA up. So I have to get my ass into gear and get cracking. So why am I blogging instead of studying? Well I had to let my nails dry and I figured why not update you guys? So here I am, procrastinating :P But I will get up to date, hopefully by next weekend cause I would like to have time to study the things I'm learning now too :P I will try my best.

My goal is to go to the library after school and study until about five everyday. Obviously that might not work out everyday, but I've been doing it for the past few days and hopefully it's a habit that I can get used to and take advantage of. The only thing is that staying on campus after school tempts me to buy food (coffee, snacks, etc) so that is going to be an issue cause I want to cut down my spending, especially since I know I'll be spending money in NYC that I hadn't planned on spending a few weeks ago. I seriously need a job, but then that will cut into my studying time. Well I say that, but then the past two fall semester I've been working and going to school and that always turned out pretty okay. Like I would be able to keep on top of a lot of my work, even though I would still be behind, and I would be wasting less time at home doing nothing... Maybe I  should start looking for a job during reading week, cause then midterms would have been over and I will have time to complete training before finals hit. and hopefully I'll be able to slip a bit of volunteering in there as well. I think I'll make that a plan :)

Anyways I have to go and hit the books :) See you guys after midterms (if I'm still alive)

20th Birthday!

Hey guys!

So it was my birthday last Saturday and I celebrated it with my friends on Friday and I decided to celebrate with my family on Saturday. so obviously with this plan, I didn't get any school work done at all this weekend.

I went to 3amigos with my girlfriends on Friday, on the guest list was ST, W, BB, Y, S, GW, CL and a few other people that I've never mentioned on the blog, we were 10 in total. And as per 3amigos style, they give you a sombrero when it's your birthday, along with a slice of cake, YUM! I had a blast at supper and I got really cool presents! Thank you to everyone that came :D Along the presents were: cupcakes, perfume, a book, nail polish, a tea cup, and others. And GW paid for my supper :) which was super sweet of her.

After supper we headed to a pub where, thank to my sombrero, I got a huge happy birthday from a table of guys and one of the guys wished me happy birthday and shook my hand. We were at the table next to his and the whole time we were there, he would look at me (and not like in stealth, like outright let me look at the table). Every time we were looking at pics he would look at the pic, every time we said something he would turn over and look. I refused to make eye contact, which made it all the more fun to see him keep trying (I never said I was nice :P). And when we were leaving, his whole table was looking over at us, and he was looking at me. I ended up putting my sombrero on his head said "Voila!" and his face lit up, it was so cute, like his eyes got all wide and his smile grew into a giant smile. Now in case you are wondering, he was pretty cute. His table started cheering and he got up and gave me a giant hug, with a squeeze :D, and kissed me on the cheek. All his friends wanted him to kiss me, but I said no, and like a gentleman he didn't protest. And no, I didn't get his name or number, which I wish I did :(

Then we headed to a bar, Saint-Sulpice for those of you who know where that is, and we chilled and danced there for a while before making out way home. My "home" for the nigh was Y's house, since I can't stay out till late, that was a solution. Not much happened at the sleep over since it was late and her whole entire house was asleep :P

I came home the next morning for about an hour, then headed out to go see AK, cause she couldn't make it the night before. We had lunch at this super cute Korean restaurant and then we went out for coffee. It was nice to spend the afternoon with her cause I haven't seen her for a long time. And we just talked about school and our lives and what we plan for the future (where we would live, what we could do for honeymoons) and other random things. It was a very relaxing afternoon.

Then I came home and went out for supper with my family, and when we were leaving the restaurant, I learned that my brother invited one of his friends over. This friend turned out to have invited one of my neighbors over, and that neighbor invited two other neighbors. And they all knew it was my birthday, so they came over with birthday wished and a few had presents. We all chilled and since the first neighbor got me a pterodactyl Lego set, I decided to sit down and build it :P And it took me an hour, but it was fun :P every time I messed up one of my brothers friends would take the pieces apart for me so I could fix my mistake. I chilled with them the whole night, talking, watching Youtube videos, playing Slenderman, which is a horror game, and then just chatting with him. It wasn't awkward cause they are all my friends too.

So basically I spent Friday with all my girlfriends and Saturday night with a few of my guy friends. It was
a nice way to spend my birthday, although I didn't get much sleep this weekend :P And now I have to cattch up in school work :(

Also the best birthday wish I got was from MD: "J!!!!! I wanted to wish u a happy birthday. Honestly I believe that your such a good person! Your real and most people lack that characteristic. You are gold.  Stay gold J!!! We need more people like you in this world. Happy Birthday :) [...] U deserve the world!!!" I copied it down word for word, so please forgive me for the spelling mistakes :P This made my night though, it was so sweet.

New Years Resolutions + Staff Get Together

Hey guys!

New years is fast approaching, and with that comes new years resolutions... that never seem to be kept for more than a few weeks :P I'm hoping this year will be different. This year i have a few new years resolutions and I'm hoping I'll keep at least one of them.

So here are my new years resolutions:
  1. Get into shape: yes, this is partially me wanting to loose weight, but I also want to climb McGill's hill everyday without dying trying to get between classes. I with this resolution, I want to go to to gym twice a week, hopefully I'll be able to keep that schedule during midterms and finals too, but even if I can't I would want to go at least once a week. Part of this resolution was also to join a dance of a zumba class, and ST made me commit to that (at least for 5 classes) cause that is what she got me for Christmas! I am so excited cause hopefully, this will make me really want to commit to it for more than a few classes. We'll see how that works out for me.
  2. Do better in my classes: I didn't have the best study habit in CEGEP, and I kind of kept that going for my first semester in Uni, but I'm hoping I can kick that habit and get myself to focus in my classes and come home and take extra notes and listen to lecture recordings, cause I have to admit,. no matter how much I can't focus on them when I'm listening to them at home, they help in the long run! I also want to get studying done before midterms and finals hit, cause that would be a load off my back and might allow me to get some gym time as well.
  3. Get a lab job:  Now this one is because I am an undecided science student that is not looking at medical school in her future. I'm not looking into med school for a lot of personal reasons, one of them being that not being able to help some patients no matter how much I want to will kill me every time because I feel guilty really easily. So my only other option (not my only, but a big option) is a lab job. I would like to know what it's like to work in a lab to see if that is the life I would like to set myself up for. I don't care if this is a paid internship or even just a volunteer opportunity, I think it would be really cool to see what my future can hold for me. And this is also a resolution I want to keep for the next 2 years, or at least till before I get my undergraduate degree.
  4. Be more confident: I'm a pessimistic person and I would like to try to change that, even my a little. I know I've said I've been better at it, but it's still hard. And I understand that it's not always easy, but when my friends say something like "you look good today," I would like to believe that it's true. And maybe this will be easier when I get into shape, and maybe it won't make a difference. But I will try my best regardless.
  5. Be more careful with my money: I'll admit I'm already very good with my money, I'm not going to spend every penny I have once I get it, and I have money set aside in a savings account and I also have money that is not in the savings, but that I refuse to touch no matter how much I want to spend the money. And I admit, I made quite a bit of money this summer (mostly cause I worked my ass off and my boss milked every last hour he could get out of me), but I still somehow end up spending most of it... I have about 1/3 of it left. I guess granted that I haven't been working for 2 months that is very impressive, but I don't plan on getting a job until next summer, so I have to start being a little more money smart and start only getting what I really need, or items that I know I will use all the time. I will have to start asking myself "How often am I going to use/wear this?" and obviously, like I always do, look for good deals.
  6. Keep my close friends: This one I find may be the most important and maybe the hardest to keep for the year. Don't get me wrong, I want to make new friends as well cause there us nothing wrong with making your circle bigger, but I'm hoping that by this time next year I'll still be friends with ST, W, BB and Y (although we've been kind of getting distant lately). It will be hard cause I won't have classes with any of them next semester and out schedules aren't exactly hang out friendly (along with the insane work load our programs give us). But I hope that by this time next year we are all still as close as we are not (give or take a little on the closer or the not as close side). But I really wouldn't want to lose them anytime soon. They are the ones that keep me grounded and make sure I have a good time and make sure I don't over stress myself.
I think that's about it for my new years resolutions this year. Hopefully I will be able to keep at least one of them, well I'm hoping all, but we all know how long new years resolutions last :P

And I'm just going to add this here cause not much happened at the staff get together. We needed up being five people going out for a sushi supper. It was T, WL, LT, CL and myself. I thought it was going to be awkward since both T and WL don't talk much, but boy was I wrong, they talked and laugh the most I have ever seen them do either. I think LT might have felt the most awkward at the sinner, but he was always a little awkward :P But we all had a blast and we all laughed a lot and we ate so much sushi it was insane, the waiter even came back a few times to make sure that we were sure we wanted to order so much. But it was a blast and after a stressful time planning it, the supper itself definitely makes me want to plan something again. But remind me again why I am the one that plans staff parties?

P.s. The horse back riding was postponed and I couldn't make it on the new day, so no news there.

What are your resolutions?

Staff Night

Hey guys!

So I co-organized a staff night last night with one of my coworkers and we had a blast. Not everyone showed up of course. But the ones that did all had fun. We were supposed to be 10 peoples, but MD and his sister couldn't make it last minute cause they had a family supper to go to, but we had fun without them. It's fun to be with coworkers when you aren't stressing and you have time to all sit down and eat at the same time. I met up with GW at work and we hung around till she was done and then we walked over to meet up with everyone else. We all ate, but one of our co-workers, LT, had to leave early.

We all jokes around about work, movies, school, and it was nice cause for once we weren't all stressed about work related things. G had classes, but he joined us afterwards and we left the restaurant. Half of us went to a pub afterwards and the other half went to go watch Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2. I went to the pub with 2 other of my coworkers and we just talked about boys and their past relationships. We ended the night by taking pictures in a photo booth :P It was a nice well spent away from school stress.

Then this morning I posted a picture of all of us at the restaurant with the caption to my boss going "admit it you miss us ;)", and my boss replies "if u would've invited me, I would've paid ;)". The relationship I have with my boss is honestly not a normal employer/employee relationship, but that's what makes it fun.

Everyone's telling me that we should do staff night again, but that obviously means "Hey J, you should plan something like this again!" So yup, I'll be planning the next event too. And next time I'll invite my boss too, so he can pick up the tab :P

See you guys soon :)

Girls Night

Hey guys,

I just had a girls night at Y's house and we bakes a cheesecake that, get this, didn't even have to be backed! Isn't that amazing? I was so surprised that you can make a cheesecake without baking it. WE went grocery shopping first and then we dropped by Wendy's for supper and then we went back to her house to watch Burlesque. Then we finally got around to making the cake. It was really fun cause I generally bake alone :p So it was nice having company :) We fooled around too, she put whipped cream on my face and we were blasting music and dancing around too.

But when I was in her room, I was playing with her guitar. YES she has a guitar! I was so excited cause I've always wanted to learn and after laying around with hers I am convinced to go out and buy myself a guitar now! I really want to learn how to play guitar. I'm hoping H can still maybe teach me, when ever he finds free time in his schedule... He's always so busy.

What I wanted to say in the last paragraph before I got side tracked by excitement was that playing the guitar at Y's house reminded me of when I spent 2 hours in a music shop and H played the guitar for me for about an hour. And I can't help but think how nice that was, we ended up getting kicked out of the store cause they were closing :P That was a really nice worry free little time in that day.

Okay so back to girls night, we were singing our hearts out in the car whenever we were in there, and then I got to meet her mom and uncle, and officially her sister. It was fun, I watched them play cards. I got t joke around with her family and got to know her brother a little better :) It was a fun night and I'm totally down to do it again, except this time with ST too! You hear me? You better be there next time!

Anyways it's late and I should be getting to bed, I'll tell you guys how the cake turned out since it's chilling in the fridge right now :P

Night Thoughts

Hey guys!

So tonight, I had my shortest shift ever! It was only 3 hours long! Yup, before this my shortest shift was 5 hours. All I did was a catering job for a party, so I didn't even have to do much, just show up, set up, serve, clean and leave. And the best part, was I spent a few hours doing nothing but texting and talking to my boss about nonsense. Not to mention that I got to eat the most delicious cookies EVER! They were amazing.

I also got into a fight, well ish, with W, she's mad at me for a prank I pulled on her. But I'm oping we can go back to being best friends, cause I'm s close to her, it feels weird to talking to her. Hopefully she'll forgive me eventually, cause I miss her like crazy :(

You know how people say that bet friends can always fight, butt hen they become friends again super quickly? Well, as much as I want to believe that, I don't think that's always true, I lost a lot of friends through fights, but I;m seriously hoping W isn't one of them...

Anyways, I am tired and need my beauty rest, until next time. And I also hope you guys are getting enough sleep, cause nothing feels better than a whole good nights sleep. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

So Tired...

Hey guys,

So yesterday was my first 16 hour shift EVER! and I am dead tired... We had a huge order at work yesterday. Making 13000 pastries for the order. I was supposed to work 1-11, then it got changed to 11:30-11 which isn't that bad, a normal double shift for me. Then my boss asked me to go in for 9:30... I said no, but ended up going in for 10 anyways.

We started off my making about 2000 Beavertails in 2 hours, then we started serving out guests. They day itself was really nice cause I got to work with MD and G, so we were just fooling around all day, my boss even caught me making a dough man on the job :P.

Then at 10, my boss calls me to see if I wanted to do a catering job at a wedding. Cause yes, Beavertails caters now, but only in Montreal. So I ended up going to a hall to serve Beavertails. So we leave to go to the catering, and I didn't have the "right" official Beavertails uniform on, so my boss made me wear his shirt. It's really funny, cause my co-worker was like "Umm J, we usually wear our boyfriends shirts... Not our bosses..." That was funny and we laughed pretty hard about that. Ohh work seriously doesn't feel like work most of the time. I ended up getting home around 2 in the morning yesterday... so a 10AM-2AM shift :) What a joy, well to some degree it was.

Well that's all I wanted to tell you guys about :)
Until next time!

And It's a Go!

Okay, so remember when I told you guys I had a dream about me and L? And we were dating, and dancing or what not, and I said it was totally bonkers? Well, I'm starting to think maybe not...

So I've recently realized that I might not like him like him, but I definitely have some attraction towards him. It's not so much that I want to date him, but I don't know, just be around him? I know what some of you are thinking, but he is not a guy I would date. I just know he's not, it's a gut feeling. But I do feel something, which is strange...

On the other hand T just had his official last day, so that means no more T, I'm never going to see him again, because of the fact that we both go to different schools... Ohh life. I'll miss his little cluelessness and his laugh, such an adorable laugh.

Other than that, my NYC trip is going to happen! So excited! Can't wait to be off before Uni starts! It's going to be a 3 day trip with 2 of my friends, yes a bunch couldn't come cause of personal reasons, but I'm not going to let that be a bummer. I shall enjoy this trip no matter what! And of course shop! Sigh, there goes all the money I made this summer :P But hopefully it'll be worth it and hopefully I might have something to talk about when I get back! Can't wait to get some major shopping done and just get time away from work and just enjoy a few days on my own. Plus the night before I leave, there is a free, yes FREE, MSO concert at the Olympic stadium. I've always wanted to go see one of their shows and I'm not willing to pay 50$ for a concert that I might not end up liking, so this is going to be a test run to see if I'll like it or not. I feel like a free concert for something I've wanted to see for a good 4 years now is a good way to start off my mini vacation before school starts and reality sets in.

And I'm on my 13th book for the summer! Yes, 13! I'm a nerd, that I shall admit. But I am very proud of myself, although the books aren't super hard to read English classics, I'm still doing very well, maybe on the last post of the summer I'll add up all the pages I have read and impress you guys :P Probably won't do that great of a job, but meh, a girl can try.

I'm also trying to squeeze as many activities in for the rest of the summer as possible, so I'm making plans to meet up for lunch or supper or ways to spend the day, cause to be honest, I might not be friends with some of the friends i have right now for longer, with us going to different Universities in different programs and for some, even in different provinces... It may be time to say bye to some friends, so I will cherish what ever time we have left together.

Well, feel free to tell me what you think of my summer plans, my bookwormness or just say hi :)

Wake Up Call and Day Dreams

OMG! I have finally heard from ST it's been forever since I've spoken to her, mostly cause she is not in the country at the moment, which country you ask? Well let me just say a country with a big time difference from here in Montreal. It was super great hearing from her and super great having an hour long chat after waking up from a tiring day at work. It was a great wake up call! So ST if you are by chance reading this, I can't wait till you get back :)

In Need of R&R

So tired... I've been working the past few days and I am tired from that, well more like my feet are soar, but then today I decide to spend the whole day in wedges. Smart choice? Not so  much, cause now my feet really really hurt me :( But as I type, and you perhaps read, I am preparing a tub of water to soak my feet in. Hopefully they come out feeling amazing.

Aside from that, I haven't been up to much, granted it hasn't been that long since I last updated. Just worked and had a lunch date with my friends today. So that was fun. Also cause it's one of the only times I get to go out with my friends.

I have finished most of my half finished books, so I've finished Micro and Fifty Shades Darker in just have to finish Game of Thrones and I should be able to move ahead with my reading list, next I'll be tackling the John Green books. and I've started the last Fifty Shades book, what is it about this series that makes me want to keep reading it?

I still haven't talked to H, and even though I miss him sometimes, I don't text him, and it's weird, but it feels good to get some distance from him and it even feels comfortable to a certain extent. I know that it might not make sense, but I'm not that bugged by the fact that we haven't talked for such a long time, well okay, the fact that I'm writing this here means I do care, but I don't know, I don't want to text him cause he may not want to talk to me, and if he wanted to talk to me, he would text me no? But W and BB are saying that maybe he's thinking the same thing on his end, maybe he's waiting for me to text. But like the lambda test I was doing a while ago, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if he comes around. Sigh... why do boys have to be so complicated?

Stay cool and enjoy your summer!

Rainy Day

Hey guys,

I'm officially on break, and I'm already out everyday. I've been shopping, going out for lunch, hanging out, having a few drinks, volunteering. Luckily my shift was cancelled today so I can lounge around at home an get to those books I listed in my last post. I should also mention that it's raining like a crazy person here. Ohh Montreal and your sudden love of rain. But I don't mind, this means I can stay in bed, light a candle and read all day long. But this continued rain is starting to put a damper on things, I've had to cancel a few plans already cause of this weather. But all we can hope for is a better few weeks to come, with no more flooding :P

But I'm debating if I should go through with the graduation presents I had planned for everyone, every time I'm about to get to it, something tells me it's a lame present... I won't mention what it is, because some of the gift recipient read this blog from time to time and I want them to be surprised by the present, if I ever end up giving it that it.

I know my recent posts aren't like the first posts I started this blog with, but I really have nothing to write about. Sorry for those whom I have deceived into thinking I had a cool life. Sad reality, I have no life :P

Hoping my next post will be more interesting,
-J
