She's Back & a Busy Schedule

Hey guys!

So guess what! ST is back, yes you heard me right, she is back, well to be fair I don't remember if I told you guys that she was out of town... I think I did, but I really don't remember. But she is back! And that's all that matters! I missed her so much, I've spent a month not seeing her. When I got her text message, I stood in the freezer at work just to reply to her text. Yes I'm super excited that she is back, and I'm even willing to wake up early to see her tomorrow, and yes, I am aware that for that to happen, I should be in bed by now, but, bad sleeping habits die hard.

And I know I've been posting regularly and now all of a sudden I just stopped posting for a while, but to be honest nothing much is going on in my life at the moment. I'll let you guys in on a secret (if you haven't already figured it out), my life is super boring. Well there you have it, there is my secret.

Basically, I'm getting geared up for orientation wee at school. I have a bunch of events lined up, along with work (luckily LaRonde is closed for the week) so I have a little more time to organize events into. I have events for every day next week, of course not all are linked to school. I have a friend coming form Vancouver to visit, and I have to, absolutely have to see her cause I didn't have time to last year. I have to see ST, I have the organized events with school, I have work (what else is new, although only during the weekend) and I have a BBQ with some of my co-workers. It's a jam packed week and the fact that it's labour day weekend that weekend does not help me one bit. But I'm hoping everything is going to work out, fingers crossed.

And before you ask, or before you think I forgot, I'm going to state now that I'm not going to be going to my FROSH. For those who don't know what FROSH is, it's orientation week sure, but what most people know it as is a week long party where freshmen get to know one another and party and get drunk. I unfortunately will not be attending because a) it's $135 (yes, I'm cheap), b) LABOUR DAY weekend = work (I know what you're thinking, but let me tell you now, my boss isn't that old and he isn't stupid either, he knows about FROSH) c) I'm not into alcohol and partying d) one of the days is at LaRonde and frankly, anytime I'm there even for fun, it feels like work. So you can say I'll regret not going all you want, but I don't think I will.

Until next time! I simply need sleep, I need a decent face to see ST tomorrow morning, and I need a pretty face for the birthday party I'm going to tomorrow as well. Wish me luck on my tight schedule next week. Boy problems will be on another post because I am simply too tired for my own good.

p.s. Tell me if you guys went/ are going to your FROSH.

Summer is Here!

Hey guys!

Classes are over, the sun is shining, the temperature is burning up, not to mention that finals are over and I am FREE! Well, from CEGEP at least. The temperature is beautiful in MTL all week, and summer feels like it's already here. The sun is shinning, the temperature is at least a balmy 25-ish (I won't lie), what else can a girl ask for? Ohh ya! Plans with her friends for the whole summer!

So, I'm currently working, but I'm going to make sure I still see my friends as much as possible. Especially because some of them are traveling this summer, to cool places in other continents and I am stuck here, in MTL, not that there's anything  wrong with that, but you have to admit, it's not that cool to stay in town. But I may go to NYC at the end of the summer, fingers crossed that'll happen :)

The summer is starting off pretty well, I'm working a little and so far, made quite a few plans, I have museum day. For those of you in the MTL area, you should check it out, it's on the 27th (tomorrow) and it's free access to 29 of the museums in town (x). And then I have a Laronde day planed out with my friends, so AB, W, ST, SB, AK, H and of course myself. It's going to be a fun time, so hopefully no rain! Then I'm going to be checking out the Star Wars Identity exhibit at the science center (I know what id it with me and museums). I also have a few days I'm planning to go shopping with a few friends, once again NYC at the end of summer, and a trip to the beach :) Hopefully most of this will happen and more :) I also have to make plans with AA, because we've always bailed on our plans in the past.

Also not to mention the 20 books I have on my ever growing reading list! Yes, I am a big reader, I enjoy reading a lot. so now you guys know I am a bookworm :)

So let me tell you guys how I kicked off finishing school, after my  last final, I volunteered for the Montreal Children's Radiothon (I know, lame! who does volunteering right after an exam?), then went out to a pub with friends and had a few drinks, and watching drunk guys yell and dance, now that was funny. But the highlight of the night was when the guy at the table next to us bought our whole table a round of tequila shots! It was super nice of him. and I also went to watch the Avengers yesterday. So that is how I kicked of my summer and a few of my plans. How have your summers started and what do you have planned?

Enjoy the sunshine :)

Finals + Summer Plans

Hey guys!

So some of you guys may be wondering what I'm doing blogging, when in reality I should be studying for finals and whatnot. Well, I like to procrastinate as much as possible, and blogging is one of my many procrastination activities. I know I'm lifeless... But all this said, school is getting to be a pain in the a**. So close to finishing, yet so willing to just give it all up now... But I won't there is 2 weeks of school left, then 3 exams, and it's time to say bye bye to CEGEP and hello to University! I am so excited!

But before I can be happy about Uni, I have to worry about 4 more tests, 3 major assignments, 1 essay, 3 quizzes and of course 3 more Finals. But I can muggle through all of this, and hope that I don't have to worry about summer school. But aside from the school work, I don't have much to talk about. You see I have a boring life... Why are you guys even reading this?

So what does someone life myself have planned for the summer? I'll be working most of the time. But I also plan on going to LaRonde with some friends. For those of you who don't like in MTL, it's the only amusement park available around here. I also plan to go check out the Star Wars exhibition at the Montreal Science Center, have a barbecue with my friends, go biking when I have time (with my brothers of my friends), reading like the bookworm I am, shop for a new wardrobe for Uni, get a haircut, get some highlights, and of course take a girls trip to NYC! I'm hoping all this happens because I want to enjoy some free and fun times before university starts and I go crazy.

I also want to take this time to tell you guy to treat others the way you want to be treated. Now I know people always say this, but seriously do it. You may think you're being okay to someone just because they don't speak up, but that doesn't mean they don't have feelings. One day they will snap and you will regret being so mean to them all along. This story is for another time though.

So until then, remember to smile at yourself in the mirror every morning, because being loved begins with oneself.
